About
Redland City, better known as the Redlands and formerly known as Redland Shire, is a local government area located in the southeast of the Brisbane metropolitan area in South East Queensland.
Redlands Coast premier fundraising event Dîner en Rouge will go ahead this year, as a new-look live stage show called Musique en Rouge, to be held on Saturday 7 November.
Now in its sixth year, the event raises much-needed funds to support Redlands Coast residents affected by domestic and family violence.
More than $330,000 has been raised by Dîner en Rouge since it began six years ago in 2014. Check out the 2019 Dîner en Rouge event photos.
Redland City is a truly beautiful place, but, like everywhere else, we suffer from domestic and family violence. In fact, our city accounts for around three per cent of all domestic and family violence protection orders applied for across Queensland...that’s more than 600 a year and more than 12 victims each week.
Funds raised through event sponsorship and ticket sales will help to ensure local community organisations can deliver assistance to families when and where it is most needed.
Diner en Rouge is proudly delivered to you by Redland City Council, Zonta clubs, Soroptimist International, Rotary Club of Cleveland, Redland Foundation and local domestic and family violence service advocates on Dîner en Rouge.
About the event
Musique en Rouge would be held at the Redland Performing Arts Centre Concert Hall and will feature exceptional performances by internationally acclaimed soprano and Redlands Coast local Mirusia, and Australia’s leading cabaret and theatre performers Luke Kennedy and Naomi Price.
The event will feature special guest speakers, and a range of great raffle prizes and auction items.
All proceeds from Dîner en Rouge go towards supporting Redlanders affected by domestic and family violence.
